Choose where it falls.

The same chain can sit differently on different people. Measure on yourself to find the length that works with your neckline.

01 / Try the length on

  1. Cut a piece of non-stretch string to the listed chain length.
  2. Drape it around your neck and bring the ends together in front of a mirror.
  3. Try it with your usual neckline, leaving comfortable space to move. A pendant may sit below the point where the chain ends meet.

02 / Compare a favorite necklace

Unfasten it, lay it straight without stretching, and measure from end to end, including the clasp. Check whether the product’s stated length includes any extender.

A 12-inch chain is very short and will not fit every neck. Measure before choosing a close-fitting length. Never assume a necklace is adjustable unless its details say so.

    I ordered this with the first letter of my surname instead of my first name. It felt like a nice way of marking getting married without adding our whole wedding date to something.
